Nina Leicht-Crist (author, translator, lactation counselor, medical assistant, and doula) is a German native who has lived in the United States for more than a decade. She now calls North Carolina home.

In her spare time she enjoys long walks, reading, traveling, cooking and watching Masterchef. Nina’s pride and joy are her two miracles who arrived after a very long battle with (in)fertility.

Raising her boys with her husband, a retired U.S. Army Special Forces Medical Sergeant now Physician Assistant, is her No.1 priority. After a crazy day she has to remind herself that this life is what she prayed for.

She holds a baccalaureate degree in Management Studies from University of Maryland Global Campus. During her studies she concentrated on technical writing, health sciences, and developed an eye for grammar. Nina translates written documents and enjoys working as a freelancer.

You can find examples of her writing on her blog at https://nylc11.wordpress.com, Her View From Home, Babble, Bumps to Baby, Egg Donation Friends, Huffington Post Deutschland and more.

Nina is the author of her autobiography Love, Faith and Infertility self-published by Tredition in March 2017. It’s a book for everyone in need of a little more hope on his or her life’s (infertility) journey.
